The 20th annual show will be December 11th 2011
Marine Corps Reserve

Another Toys for Tots Benefit and Show is complete for another year. This year was a real surprise for me. This was my 20th anniversary doing the show. Last year as you know I was the December recipient of the Jefferson Award. Now this year I was inducted as an Honorary US Marine for doing this show for the past 20 years. I was presented an official US Marine Corps Camoflage Uniform plus the hat. I am very proud to say that on Sunday December 11th we took in 33 full boxes of toys plus two new bikes and a total of $2836.00 in cash donations. I personally want to thank all my staff, The VFW Post 7591 in Madison and most of all without all the many supporters each and every year this show would not happen. This years show just got over and I already have all seven bands booked for next year. Which by the way will be Sunday December 9th 2012. Thanks everyone who were there and helped to make "Christmas Dreams Come True for our area Children"
Thanks and Merry Christmas and a very Happy 2012
Buddy Lee aka Butch Bublitz Chairman and Host of the Madison Toys for Tots Benefit.
Please allow me to introduce myself to you. My name is Buddy Lee. This will be my 20th year as Chairman along with my Co-Host Jeremy Bublitz. This year’s Toys for Tots Benefit will be held on Sunday, December 11th, 2011 in Madison at the VFW Post 7591, at 301 Cottage Grove Road. The show will run from Noon until 8:45 pm. My staff and I work very closely with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve in coordinating this day. The whole event is strictly donated, from all the bands, the room, all my staff, the sound and light crews and all the mascots from the area. There’s family entertainment throughout the day for the kids and plenty of food and door prizes every hour.
The reason I am contacting your business, is because I would like you to be a part of this growing and worthwhile charity. My staff and I go to many of the local businesses and establishments throughout the Madison area and collect door prizes, gift certificates, or anything they can donate to help with the door prize raffle. All the proceeds from the door prizes and the entire day go to the USMC Reserve to purchase toys for our area children for Christmas. I would also like to mention admission to the show is a new unwrapped toy or a cash donation at the door which is collected by the USMC Reserve. Over the past years we have collected an average of 20 barrels / boxes of toys and more than $2000.00 in cash donations.
I am asking Your Company to be a part of this annual show and “Help make Christmas Dreams come true for our area children.” By donating a door prize, gift certificate, cash or something special from your company or business your name will be added to the list of many businesses that help promote this event each and every year and mentioned throughout the day so people know who you are and patronize your business. Once again, the show will be held on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at the VFW Post 7591 at 301 Cottage Grove Road in Madison. The show runs from Noon until 8:45 pm. I am looking forward to hearing back from you regarding your participation. You may contact me or any of my staff by writing us at 243 West Seward Street #6, Poynette, WI.53955, or by email at eagle_man49@hotmail.com, or by phone at (608) 206-2698, 608-635-0048 or the New Toys for Tots Fax Number 608-635-0145. My staff member’s names are Mary Bublitz, Jessica Lau, Jeremy Bublitz, James Lau, and Kimberly Dowidat. Please leave a message if there is no answer and one of us will get back to you as soon as possible. Check us out on Facebook at Madison toys for tots benefit.
If you have donated to our benefit in the past, I would like to personally thank you for your donation(s). We look forward to working with you each and every year.
Sincerely yours,
Buddy Lee and Jeremy Bublitz
